= биодоступностьфармакологическая характеристика вводимого в организм препарата, отражающая скорость и степень терапевтического действия лекарственного препарата; доля введенного вещества, поступившая в системный кровоток в активной форме или в форме предшественника. Б.д. выражается в процентах или долях единицы. Б.д. определяется скоростью и степенью всасывания лекарственного препарата; эффективность однократной дозы препарата является функцией его Б.д. Б.д. препарата может оцениваться как абсолютная или относительная. Абсолютная — когда в качестве стандарта используют данные о внутривенном введении препарата, а в качестве тестовых — фармакокинетические данные о пероральном (через рот) введении этого же препарата в той же дозе. Если в качестве стандарта и теста используют один и тот же препарат в разных лекарственных формах для перорального введения, тогда речь идет об оценке относительной Б.д. (относительно стандарта); напр., инсулин, принимаемый перорально, имеет низкую Б.д., поскольку, будучи белком, расщепляется желудочными ферментами; поэтому инсулин вводят либо подкожно, либо внутримышечно. По этой же причине часто разрабатывают препараты, действующие аналогично своим природным прототипам, но имеющие небелковую природу.Толковый биотехнологический словарь.
